His book, The Urban Farmer demonstrates organic intensive techniques with a focus on business and systems to streamline labour and production. Curtis’ first farm established in 2010, Green City Acres was located in Kelowna, BC, Canada. He created a business model, operating in an eight month growing season and generating over $75,000 per year on only one third of an acre.
